2024 Non-toxic Beauty Gift Guide

It’s here! My first ever non-toxic beauty gift guide! As a self proclaimed product junkie (I was obsessed with Sephora in high school), I should have made this a long time ago.

After going down many rabbit holes with nutrition, I soon learned that food is not only thing to be concerned about in terms of health. The products that we put on our bodies (many of us ladies) could also be causing dis-ease.

It’s estimated that the average woman uses 12 cosmetic products everyday, composing up to 168 chemical ingredients. I believe it’s no coincidence that the main demographic using these products (women) is more likely to development autoimmune issues. As Dr. Kathryn M. Rexrode said, “products are tested to make sure they don’t cause short-term problems, such as skin irritation. But they’re not tested for long-term safety.”

“Products are tested to make sure they don’t cause short-term problems, such as skin irritation. But they’re not tested for long-term safety,” says Dr. Kathryn M. Rexrode.

But if you are a self proclaimed “product junkie” like myself, have no fear! You can still indulge in wonderful lotions and potions with peace of mind. Below are some great brands and products that I personally use and love.

Note: For those reading this in the Wilmington area, many of these products can be found at our local clean beauty store, Figgy Co. Also, this list does not include every brand I like. It’s just some items that I think would make great gifts for someone special or to add onto your own wish list.

Non-toxic Beauty Gift Guide

One Love Cleansing Rose Heart Sponge

How cute is this little thing? It’s a “biodegradable, eco-friendly alternative to throwaway makeup wipes, this gently exfoliating natural sponge brings some extra love to your cleansing routine! Made with konjac plant fiber, prized for its ability to purify and smooth skin while buffing away dirt and makeup.” ($10)

Humble Deodorant Variety Pack

I think this variety pack looks wonderful which comes with 6 travel size deodorants. This would be a fun idea to add to everyone’s stocking, including your own 😊. ($26)

CocoKind Hydrating Facial Toner

The price point for Cocokind just can’t be bet. Plus, it can be found at Wholefoods and plenty of other health stores (as well as non-toxic beauty stores). I love this rose spray, but they also offer some great sets that would make a great gift or stocking stuffer. ($18)

I Pekar Lip Butter

This is one item that you can always find in my purse! Made with CBD and Kokum butter, it “provides long lasting hydration, soothe and heal chapped lips, and protects against the elements. ($21)

Rahua Organic Voluminous Spray

This voluminous spray is a must have. I also love their hair spray – both smell incredible and work great! The company makes clean shampoo and conditioner as well. ($34)

RMS Best of Collection

This “best of collection” is a great idea for any makeup lover. Rule of thumb is, anything from RMS is incredible and would make a great gift! ($48)

Osea Golden Glow Set

Osea is absolutely one of my favorite body skincare brands. And this glow set makes a perfect gift! ($58)

Maya Chia Hydrating Brightening Essence

I love facial mists and this one from Maya Chia is top of the class! ($59)

RMS Scarlet Moon Fragrance

RMS product again. You honestly can’t wrong with anything from this company, or any of the ones on this list. As far as perfume goes, it’s difficult to find one that isn’t toxic. Most are filled with endrocrine disrupting chemicals. Not RMS. This one is made with 100% essential oils. ($150)

For Him

Jack Henry Cleanser

If your husband (or any male in your life) is anything like mine, he’s not really into products. The simpler the better, or nothing at all. I bought Derek this cleanser last year and he loves it (so do I!). Made with natural ingredients like citrus and sandalwood, it smells pretty incredible – very masculine and dare I say, sexy. 🙂
